I create jewelry, music, herbal blends, and more! Today's post I'm featuring handmade jewelry. Here's a first hand look at my work.
How Long Have I Made Jewelry?
I started creating jewelry for myself in 2011. In 2012 I started my Etsy shop. I craft jewelry every day now.
What inspired me to make Jewelry?
I was inspired to make jewelry at a young age. My grandma bought art kits for Christmas. I became extremely crafty. One day after school, I grabbed my Dad's pliers and pulled apart an old necklace to put new charms on it. In the past, my grandfather mined gems and crystals in the mountains of Arkansas and the Carolinas. He had boxes of pliers, gems, beads, and jewelry supplies. He handed it all over in 2010 and I began experimenting as a hobby.
Do I make Jewelry for a living?
Yes, I do! I sell at craft fairs, festivals, and online Etsy (Click Here).
What are my dreams?
My dream is to become a goldsmith/silversmith one day. I love Native American jewelry and dream of creating it! I dream of traveling, playing music, writing, and selling my handmade art.
I always wanted to start my own creative business. Pictures below of the first wire wraps I made, including custom crystal wraps. (early 2012)
(turquoise, fluorite, amethyst, blue lace agate, quartz, and more!)
I experimented making these pieces In November 2013. I began to experiment with more wire wrapping of arm bands, rings, necklaces, and other various styles of wire jewelry.
(handmade Howlite and copper knuckle rings)
(Dainty handmade gemstone bracelet featuring bloodstone, turquoise, amethyst, and more!)
(Handmade heart shaped rose quartz earrings)
(Handmade copper wire arm cuff feating jasper and agate!)
Pictures of recent jewelry I have created this year (2014). These pieces include intricate wire wrapped crystals and hand pressed wildflowers In resin. I cast resin by hand. Copper wire is a major component to assure a high electrical conduction throughout the body. Crystals chosen by birth or zodiac sign. I take custom orders! Message me, I'm available 24/7.
